South Korea will conduct a nationwide anti-air raid civil defense drill 14:00-14:20 Aug. 23, likely prompting transport and business disruptions. Authorities are holding the exercise for the first time in six years as part of the annual Ulchi civil defense drill Aug. 21-24. During the air-raid drill, officials will restrict most transport and pedestrian movement for 15 minutes. Individuals must remain indoors or move to local shelters, and motorists must pull to the side of the road. The exercise will not affect air travel and emergency services.

Heed all official instructions. Carry proper identification documents to present at any security checks. Exercise caution and allow additional time to reach destinations, including after air-raid drills conclude. Confirm business appointments.
